Onsite - District Lead – Programmes
The District Lead in Jaipur will manage program implementation, capacity building, budget oversight, and campaign planning for Azad Foundation’s Women with Wheels and community engagement programs.

Salary: 45,000-50,000 per month

About Azad Foundation:
Azad is a professional feminist organization working across social and religious divides to enable resource poor women to empower themselves by engaging them in viable non- traditional livelihood options. Azad is committed to breaking patriarchal boundaries and structures so that the women can exercise control over their lives and live a life of dignity. This is done through transformative capacity building programs around the self and the skills needed for non-traditional livelihood, based on adult learning principles. Azad also engages with both men and women in their communities so that both can construct a safe and supportive space for their development. Currently Azad Foundation operates directly in Jaipur, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata and in partnership with other organizations in Indore, Bhubaneshwar, Ahmedabad and Lucknow.
Role Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage Azad’s programs (Women with Wheels, training and Community engagement – Outreach & Mobilization, Feminist Leadership Program and Men for Gender justice) in Jaipur.
- Facilitating mentioned programme teams in their plan and quality execution of their Programmes as per the objective and plan.
- Ensure to fulfill the programs target.
- Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic planning of the organization.
- Visit field to observe, support and evaluate program works, instruction and implementation.
- Prepare budgets & ensure programme budget utilization.
- Identify opportunities to delivery of training programme & community engagement to strengthen programme execution.
- Identify capacity building needs of team & ensure required interventions.
- Plan and organize campaigns for gender equality that encourages women to join NTL in communities.
- Participate in campaigns organized by other organizations on the similar issues.
- Develop/refine comprehensive IEC material for the programs.
- Facilitate monthly meetings, quarterly programme reviews of the implementation of Women with Wheels training, Community engagement – Outreach & Mobilization, Feminist Leadership Program and Men for Gender Justice and present learning analysis to the leadership.
- Manage all reporting requirements and timely ensure the MIS updates.
- Ensure that all training programmes in the center are consulted in clean, hygienic & learning oriented atmosphere.
- Develop an overall capacity building and training plan for the programs and annual training plans.
- Taking responsibility for achieving goals set for the Jaipur programs in alignment with institutional goals by effective program planning, execution and monitoring within the agreed standards.
- Ensure the completion of baseline and endlines of FLP and MGJ programs.
Professional & Educational Qualifications
- Graduate/Post Graduate degree social work/sociology/gender studies/political science/development studies.
- Skills – Good knowledge of Hindi & English, excellent communication, presentation skills, report writing/documentation skills, planning, networking and monitoring skills.
